WebSite Wednesday

Okay, baby Sophia is 2 months old as of Monday so I am on the "lose the baby weight" highway. I am working out with a trainer 3 times a week - now I just have to eat clean!! That is my biggest challenge! But I am trying to find websites that are going to help motivate me. Here is one - check it out for yourself and tell me what works best for you in the weight loss arena!

Ribbon Fun!

Hey all! Here is the page that I made for my March Challenge as well as my take on the ribbon tutorial from Scrapbook Circle.

TFL!

Website Fun!

I don't know if You-Tube counts as a website but, Close To My Heart ran a contest for the funniest videos that demostrate why clear stamps are better. Here are thethree finalists for you to check out!
In no particular order, the finalists were:

“Stamp WOW! Clear Stamps (Sham Wow parody)” by Senior Executive Manager Tresa Black, Spokane, Washington
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tp424x13WIc

“Stamp Olympics!!!” by Consultant Melanie Harmsma, Edmonton, Alberta
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6VgLmhwsVc

“Clear Stamp Fairy Tale” by Director Lori Leng, Hendersonville, North Carolina
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmVvzgKHckE

The winner was the Stamp WOW! clip but I (of course) loved the Stamp Olympics one!

Enjoy!

March Layout Club

Here are the layouts for the March Club. Let me know by the 22nd if you would like to be in on these this month.
This first one makes me think of Easter eggs or hot summer days with the sprinkler on. I originally did it for a "Big Sister" LO for my nieces. It is pretty versatile! I have very limited supplies of the paper in this LO.

The second one (below) is an elegant LO - I think that it would also work for Easter, Mother's Day - maybe even a spring wedding! I just threw the title on there to give some detail to the picture. Hope you like it!

Magpie Club March Sketch Challenge

Can't believe that I have this done already! But I had the idea of doing a layout with this photo and the journaling, I just used the sketch to put it together! Enojoy and thanks for looking!!
Patterend paper is from CTMH's Felicity collection. The calendar is Jenni Bowlin and the epoxy stickers and the rest are...I'm not sure!!!

Friday Faves

Well, here is my list of favorite things today!
You have to take a listen to this album if you haven't already. It is a few years old but I never get tired of listening to it. Bon Jovi took all their classics and switched them up - a little acoustic stuff - a female vocalist! They rock! And I am going to see them (again!) in July...can't wait!!!

Also, if you are looking for a good read - maybe something out of your normal realm. check out this book. It is a story about a little girl growing up in Nazi Germany told from the perspective of the Grim Reaper.

I also really like the Feb edition of Shape. There were lots of easy-to-do-at-home exercises and practical meal ideas.

And last but not least - check out www.scrapbookcircle.blogspot.com for Thursday, February 25, 2010 for a GREAT easy ribbon tutorial! I can't wait to try it!
